Having successfully established Sahayak.com as a trusted name in financial landscape Mr. Koul has now embarked on the next significant chapter of his professional journey which is fulfilling his long cherished dream of becoming a SEBI Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). This transition reflects a personal commitment of operating at the highest level of regulatory accountability and professional integrity in the Indian investment advisory space.

A New Chapter — SEBI Registered Investment Advisor

After more than two decades of serving clients through Sahayak.com, Mr. Koul has stepped away from the firm to register as a SEBI Registered Investment Advisor — the most credible and regulated form of investment advisory practice in India.

As a SEBI RIA, Mr. Koul commits to:

  • Operating as a fee-only, conflict-free advisor with no commission-based incentives
  • Being governed by the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, ensuring the highest fiduciary standards

He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), credentialled by the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB India), holding Membership No. 18897 since 2009. The CFP® designation is globally recognised as the highest professional standard in the Personal Finance domain, demanding rigorous examination, ethical commitment, and continuous professional development.
As of 16th April 2026, there are only 3,208 CFP® professionals across India — placing Mr. Koul among an elite and exclusive group of qualified financial planners in the country.
